My fave player always was Agassi. He was the coolest when he was still with the long hair and all.

My first tennis raquet (?) was from the Ivan Lendle edition. And I always wanted to play and look like Gabriela Sabatini Embarassed

As you can see, I stopped playing and watching tennis in another generation.

I go with Roddick, just because his name is rude!

I like is way of playing, I like his behaviuor, his mental strength
I like him as a person outside the court, the fact that inside is still a youg child.
Maybe Federer is the best in the world ever, but this is not important for me. I wasn't an Inter supporter because it was a winning team, I supported it for 24 years and I will support it for ever... I dont' know if you understand what I'm saying.
The most important thing is what I feel when I watch him playin.
And who knows, he still young and maybe one day he will be the first.
Wink

Well, I love Rog too..also mainly because of his personality. And I never liked childish (sports)men, no matter what their profession is. That's why I prefer the older ones..fact lol. Nothing against this "being a child deep in the heart", i think that's good and everyone should keep that. But I think there's a difference..anyway.
Aside from Rog I can say I like Agassi too (but not with long hair please, he is one of the few man I think looking much better with a bald head Razz ) and apart from that, the youngsters I like Djoco. I think and hope he will improve a lot over the years. And that he has the means to be dangerous for both, Nadal as Federer, he showed already in Montreal a few days ago.
Anyone going to follow Cincy btw?

You said that, I said Nadal is a child off the court.
He's not at all a childish man when he plays, believe me.
I don't like Federer because I think this is just a robot, I prefer passion during a game... of course this is just my opinion.

I don't mean just on court, but in general Wink
And I don't think Rog is a robot..i see a lot of passion in his game, though I guess everyone just has a little different kind of view.

Yes same here! Very Happy
Something i do like really .. fed speaks maybe 5/6 languages? or so. A bit like Figo hehe Razz
It's funny when Nadal speaks in English, also funny is that he always puts the bottles on the same place under his chair or so and the thing with the socks Razz
On wimbledon an opponent was imitating that with the socks and Nadal bcame a bit cross, i also have the opinion that Nadal can look very arrogant but like you said steph, everyone has a different view and that's ok.

A couple of weeks ago I registered on fed's forum and I found out that he plays with alot of passion, the way he talks about tennis, and it;s no robot, he has weaker points etc, and also mentally.. I think it's a legend in tennis and adal will become one too!.. Smile

Well, 5/6 languages is a little overstated, it's 3, or 4 if you count Swiss German as an extra language lol. Can do that, I don't understand a word when he speaks Swiss.

Do you mean his homepage where you registered Mirr?

I don´t like Nadal that much. Pretty boy and all. But I know what Lauri means talking about the robot. People said the same about Pete Sampras when he was number one and won everything.

Agassi might have never won that much, but when he played, the passion grabbed the fans. Different to Sampras, who I really liked. Federer reminds me a lot of him. He is very concentrated when he plays. Maybe too much, it does not look like he enjoys it really.
